Yesterday was the last day at Prairie Star Quilts. I was so touched at how many of you came to say goodbye. I know others of you have been in lately when I have not been there and I thank all of you. Truly the best part of PSQ has always been the people - both staff and customers and that's the memory that will never die.

We had to take two staff photos as we weren't all there at once. After five pm we drank some wine, told stories and shed some tears.

The hardest part of the day was coming home and not being able to celebrate my retirement with Charlie. Over the years he was more a part of the shop than many of you knew. He did all our books and supported everything I wanted to do. I wish you all could have met him.

  4. Julie, you were blessed with a wonderful husband! I know God has wonderful, great things planned for you, even though it doesn't feel like it right now. Looking forward to seeing all about them on the blog!
